The Prince of Peace

The District of Eastern North America (DENA) presents the 14th annual Christmas Card Contest.

In light of all that is happening globally today, it is easy to believe we are living in a broken world. We as Lasallians, however, find hope in this prayerful season of Advent and the joyful Christmas miracle. We ask our student artists to reflect and depict the passage from Isaiah 9:6 in today’s reality:

For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given…And His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

  • Open to middle school students in 7th and 8th grades, as well as all high school students in grades 9-12.
  • The card will be sent to the Brothers and their communities, schools & ministries, DENA leaders, and other Lasallians throughout the District.
