Harper’s Ferry, VA – On Saturday, October 24 Contact, Thomas Podles joined Brothers Arturo Martinez and Leonard Rhoades on a trip to Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Thomas is a Calvert Hall grad ’20, currently attending the University of Maryland at College Park. Their early morning adventure began on one of the park’s trails where they enjoyed much autumn beauty. They ended their hike at the Maryland Heights Overlook and then descended to have lunch at the Rabbit Hole Café. Then they walked through history enjoying many historic displays, John Brown’s Fort, the rifle factory as well as the quaint town. They enjoyed the experience as an opportunity to commune with nature, nurture their spirit, and foster fraternity. Let our prayers be with Thomas as he continues to navigate through his freshman year in college and discerns God’s will in his life.
