Albany, NY – The Board of Trustees of LaSalle School announced the selection of Mr. David Wallace to be the next Executive Director of LaSalle School. Dave will be the successor to Mr. William “Bill” Wolff, AFSC, who announced his plans to retire last September. Bill came to LaSalle in 1985 and has served as Executive Director since 1994. Dave will assume his new responsibilities full time on March 13.
Dave joined LaSalle in 2004 as a clinician, and has since worked in a number of positions, most recently as the Associate Executive Director for Program Development. He is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, has served as an adjunct instructor at the Sage Graduate Colleges, and in addition to a number of recognitions, was recently named a fellow of the National Association for the Treatment of Sex Abusers. In 2014, he completed the (Non-Profit) Executive Leadership Institute offered by the Alliance for Children and Strong Families at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. He serves on a number of boards including the Association of Children’s Residential Centers (ACRC), an international association.
Dave will lead an exceptional work force at LaSalle totaling more than 200 individuals, while working closely with the board and with the executive leadership team of Anne Moscinski, Mark Silverbush and Andrew Joslin.
In honor of Bill’s many years of service to youth and families, Albany Mayor, Kathy Sheehan, has declared Friday, March 16th “Bill Wolff Day” in the City of Albany.
