Br. Dennis Malloy, FSC, re-elected Provincial for the District of Eastern North America
4/25/13 – Eatontown, NJ – In an e-mail to Br. Dennis Malloy, FSC, Br. Robert Schieler, FSC, the General Councilor for the Lasallian Region of North America (RELAN) confirmed the Visitor’s re-election to the position.

You’ve been appointed to a second term as Visitor of DENA…Brother Alvaro is most happy to affirm the will of the Brothers… In the establishment of the new District in 2009 you formed an outstanding team to support you and the mission. You are surrounded by a very capable and dedicated team of Brothers and Partners to help you live our Lasallian reality today. The future of the Lasallian Mission in Eastern North America is filled with hope and possibilities.”
As part of the Visitor selection process, the Districts’ Brothers sent a final round of sealed nominating ballots to Rome, where the General Council opened and reviewed these nominations. With these ballots, and the advisement of the General Council, the Superior General, Br. Alvaro Rodriguez Echeverria, FSC, officially appointed the Visitor; in this case confirming the DENA Brothers’ votes, and re-electing Br. Dennis Malloy. The official letter from the Superior General was received this week, with Br. Dennis’ new term beginning this September.
