Calvert Hall and St. Frances Academy join with other teams for service

St. Frances Academy2/21/2011 – Towson, MD – The eight teams in the Baltimore Catholic League – Archbishop Spalding, Calvert Hall, John Carroll School, Loyola Blakefield, Mount Saint Joseph, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, St. Frances Academy and St. Maria Goretti – started a new tradition this February as they partnered with Catholic Charities to participate in various service projects on Monday, February 21, 2011. Loyola hosted Calvert Hall and residents from the Gallagher Group Homes in Loyola’s gym for games of basketball from 10am – 1pm while Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Mount Saint Joseph played basketball with children at St. Vincent’s Pot Spring Road and Dulaney Valley Road locations from 10am – 1pm. John Carroll School and St. Frances Academy visited and participated in activities with residents at St. Elizabeth’s, St. Ann’s and Caritas House from 1-4pm while Archbishop Spalding and St. Maria Goretti worked on homework and various activities with students from Sarah’s House from 1-4pm.
