anwarMartinezBr. Anwar Martinez, FSC studied Sociology and French in college in Guadalajara, Mexico. After college, he joined the Lasallian Volunteers Program and served at the San Miguel School in Camden, NJ. He served there for two years and worked with the 6th graders.

Br. Anwar currently teaches Spanish and Religion at La Salle College High School in Wyndmoor, PA. Outside of the classroom, he is involved with La Salle’s Homeless Outreach program, the Kairos Retreat program, and the Junior Urban Challenge, which is an overnight service immersion experience in Camden, NJ. He is also the moderator (and aficionado) of the Ultimate Frisbee Club at La Salle.

Br. Anwar recently completed his Masters Degree in Secondary Education from La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA and has certifications in both Spanish and French.
