New York, NY – Olivia Hargroder, a passionate year 12 Student from Southern Cross Catholic College in Scarborough, Queensland, made her public speaking debut at the United Nation’s 12th World Down Syndrome Day Conference in New York, on Monday, March 20.
A member of the Down Syndrome Association of Queensland, Olivia aims to encourage the global community to deliver better services for people like her.
She recently finished an Open University Course on Child Development and is focused on advocating all children with Down syndrome are shown the same hope and access to the same opportunities as other children.
