Reston, VA – Brother Craig Franz recently competed in the United States Master Swimming (USMS) National Championship held in Reston, Virginia. The USMS is the national governing body that regulates adult age-group competition in the United States both in pool meets and open water (lakes and oceans) long-distance swimming. Craig swam to a 1st place gold medal in the 2-mile national open water championship. His competition was comprised of about 200 of the top athletes from across the nation. Congratulations to Craig who will be named an “All American” at the end of the year!
