Lincroft, NJ – Brother Francisco Martin of De La Salle Hall submitted several art pieces to the Monmouth County Fair. He won 2 Blue Ribbons for his work. One for the painted shells and rocks and one for the small wooden paintings.

Frère Francisco used to always paint on shells or broken pieces of plates, etc. for all my students before coming to speak to them. Loved going to France with him to spend time in La Rochelle and dine with friends on Ile de Ré. Besides speaking to my high school students he partnered a class of French schoolkids with a class of 4th graders at my school. Never has there been a greater gentleman. I wish so badly that I could contact him.
