Romeoville, IL – Lewis University held Winter Commencement ceremonies for 854 students and bestow four honorary degrees on Saturday, December 19 and Sunday, December 20 on the University’s campus in Romeoville.

On Saturday, the Graduate Degree Ceremony master’s degrees were awarded to 304 men and women, along with three doctoral degrees in Educational Leadership.

The Sunday schedule began with the Baccalaureate Liturgy, followed by a continental breakfast. There were 547 students awarded bachelor’s degrees during the Undergraduate Degree Ceremony.

The President’s Reception for Graduates occurred after both ceremonies for graduates and their guests.

Lewis University awarded four honorary doctorate degrees at its Commencement ceremonies. Michael F. Hughes, chairman and founder of Huen Electric and a Trustee Emeritus at Lewis University, and Brother Michael J. McGinnis, FSC, President Emeritus and Professor of Religion at LaSalle University, were honored at the Commencement Ceremony for Graduate Students on Saturday, December 19.
