Narragansett, RI – On June 15, 2020, the District Council voted unanimously to approve Paul Avvento’s request to renew his annual vows. As a result, Paul did just that in the presence of his community and the Visitors of DENA at Christian Brothers Center, Narragansett. This took place on the evening of Thursday, July 16. Paul’s vows were professed in the context of a liturgy organized by Br. Fred Mueller and celebrated by Fr. Gene McKenna. A social followed as well as a meal prepared by Ocean Tides Lasallian educator of the year, Chef Craig Mitchell. Blessings and congratulations to Paul as he continues his discernment as a Brother in initial formation.
