Congratulations to Brother William Mann who concludes a decade of service as President of St. Mary’s University of Minnesota at the end of this month!
A series of events have recently occurred on campus expressing gratitude for his leadership and service. He has enhanced the student experience at St. Mary’s through construction and renovation projects, a 75% growth in the school’s endowment, and the emphasis on the role of our Lasallian charism. In particular, it was significant that eight students from financially challenged families who participated in the initial Countdown to College and First Generation Initiative programs that Brother William envisioned received their bachelor’s degrees as he was leaving the President’s office.
Blessings, Brother, and thank you for your years of service and influence, not only at St. Mary’s, Minnesota, but also on the District of Eastern North America, and the Brothers’ Institute.

He knew my name, he knew me but he never realized the impact he had on my future,
my professional growth, the success of a young mother with a fun loving style. Hence, with all the statistics against me…
