Mrs. Maryann Donohue-Lynch joins the Office for Mission & Ministry Leadership
06/1/12 – Eatontown, NJ – The Brothers of the Christian Schools, District of Eastern North America, are pleased to welcome Mrs. Maryann Donohue-Lynch to its leadership team as the Associate Executive Director for Mission and Ministry. Effective July 1, 2012 Mrs. Donohue-Lynch will step into her new role, working to support and develop formation programs and activities that enhance and highlight Lasallian ministries and their associations within the broader Lasallian mission; support, assist, and accompany ministries and individuals in their efforts to deepen their knowledge, pedagogy, spirituality, and expressions of association, of and within the Lasallian charism; and, ensure the vitality of and fidelity to the Lasallian mission for the benefit of present and future generations of young people.
A Catholic educator and advocate for over 30 years, Mrs. Donohue-Lynch brings a multitude of experience to her new position at the Christian Brothers’ District Office. From her roles as Director of Parish Development, Religion Department Chair and Teacher, Director of Campus Ministry, and President-Principal, Mrs. Donohue-Lynch exudes a boundless energy and enthusiasm for Catholic Lasallian education.
“I’m excited to be joining the Brothers of the Christian Schools District administration,” said Donohue-Lynch. “I look forward to continuing my work with the Christian Brothers who I’ve been in association with for more than 15 years, and helping to strengthen the educational mission of the more than 30 Lasallian ministries present in the District of Eastern North America.”
Donohue-Lynch, a wife, and mother of three, is well versed in the Brothers of the Christian Schools’ pedagogy and Lasallian charism. A graduate of the Christian Brothers’ Lasallian Leadership Institute and Buttimer Institute educational programs and a member of the District’s Mission Executive Council, as well as her work with La Salle Academy and Saint Raphael Academy (Lasallian secondary schools) in Rhode Island, are experiences that will make her a strong asset to the District’s Office for Mission and Ministry.
