4/6/13 – Towson, MD – Thirty-five Science National Honor Society students from Calvert Hall and Notre Dame Prep teamed up for Operation Clean Stream, an effort to clean waterways and streams within the regional watershed under the direction of the Gunpowder Valley Conservancy.

As part of a state-wide clean-up day, Mr. Tom Peri, a 1971 Calvert Hall graduate and science teacher at NDP, coordinated with Calvert Hall science department chair, Mr. Charles Motsay (Calvert Hall ’76), to work in an area at the White Trail at Loch Raven Reservoir at the corner of Dulaney Valley and Seminary Roads.

The students collected two tires and 29 bags of trash and debris which weighted an estimated 485 pounds.
