The National Association for Music Education Eastern Division Conference, which is held every 2 years, took place in Hartford, CT April 4-7, 2013.
The conference included five ensembles featuring students from the East Coast and Europe.
Senior J.C. Lazzaro, who has played in the Maryland All-State Orchestra during his four years at Calvert Hall, was selected 3rd chair viola in the All-Eastern Honors Orchestra.
