The Christian Brothers Academy 4xMile relay team finished fifth on Sunday morning at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals at North Carolina A&T University in 17:23.32.
The fifth-place finish is good for All-American status. Since 2009, the Colts’ 4xMile has achieved All-American status at either indoor nationals, outdoor nationals or both.
Holmdel senior Eric Williams, the second-place finisher in the javelin at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions, finished ninth in the decathlon, scoring 5,165 points.
