The Christian Brothers Academy school community is proud to offer an opportunity to join fellow Lasallians in the inaugural CBA Syracuse Alumni Day of Service on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
The day will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Pompei Church with a special prayer service featuring vocalist Mikell (Miller) DiGiorgio ’88. Upon completion of the prayer service, Alumni will disperse to various locations on the North Side of Syracuse to perform service tasks in the community. Alumni will have a choice of service opportunities that includes serving or preparing meals, cleaning, painting, and various other opportunities. At noon, Alumni will gather together at the Cathedral Academy of Pompei to reflect on their experience and reconnect with their Lasallian community.
The day of service was designed by the Mission and Ministry team at CBA to unite Alumni by demonstrating their continued commitment to their Founder, Saint La Salle, by serving those most in need in their local community.
