March 27, 2013 – Dewitt- Christian Brothers Academy celebrated musically gifted students with their annual Music Appreciation Week March 11-15. Music Appreciation week coincides with the national “Music in Our Schools” campaign every March.

Each morning during this special week at CBA, student musicians greeted students and faculty as they arrived at school with the gift of music. A variety of musical instruments were played during the week from piano to guitar to trumpet.

On Thursday March 14, faculty members Muriel Bodley and Bob Caraher, along with student musicians were up bright and early as they performed on CNY Central. Bodley and Caraher talked about the strings program, chorus, band and the upcoming “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying” musical. The interviews and student performances were shown on that night’s broadcasts.
