Dewitt, NY – The Christian Brothers Academy 8th grade class held a “Reverse” Career Fair recently. The student presentations at the fair were the culmination of a major research project involving skill identification and career matching. Students spent the morning role-playing their chosen careers to their classmates and small groups of parents, faculty, and staff in the school’s Lynch gymnasium.

The 8th graders modeled a variety of careers including pediatricians, financial planners, corporate lawyers, dentists, engineers, real estate agents, FBI agents and teachers, just to name a few. Those attending provided valuable feedback to the junior high students, while faculty observers graded the presentations to round out the project.
