Dewitt, NY – One hundred and sixteen students graduated from CBA on Sunday, June 4. The ceremonies for the Class of 2017, held for the first time at Le Moyne College’s Anthony A. Henninger Athletic Center, included the presentation of several academic and service awards and diplomas, and the appointment of Peyton Bowler, son of Walter Bowler and Susan Carey of Syracuse, to the Coast Guard Academy and Michael Matheson, son of Mark and Julie Matheson of Syracuse, to the Air Force Academy. The Class of 1967, celebrating their jubilee reunion, was also on hand to present the school with a check for $130,000 as their class gift to the school.
Eric Little, the son of Kim and Sue Little of Liverpool, delivered the Valedictorian speech. Little will attend Duke University in the fall to study economics and computer science. Zachary Popp, the son of Thomas and Patricia Kane-Popp of Syracuse, gave the Salutatorian speech. Popp will attend Boston University to study biology.
