cba-shoe-recycling12/4/12 – DeWitt, NY— Next time you are cleaning out your closet and looking for something to do with those shoes or sneakers that you no longer wear, consider giving them to CBA.

CBA is collecting used shoes and sneakers (in good condition) as part of a program, through ShoeBox Recycling. Throughout the school year, students, parents, staff and faculty can drop off their used soles to boxes in the Main Office and in the Junior High wing. The boxes are then sent to ShoeBox Recycling, which gives the school fifty cents for each pound of shoes that they receive. CBA then uses that money for its twin school in Africa. This is the first year that CBA is participating in the program. ShoeBox Recycling supplies the boxes and pays for the shipping.
