DLS_iconageWe want to see what you’re up to this Founder’s Week! By the way, since May 15th (the day back in 1950 when John Baptist de La Salle was proclaimed the Patron Saint of Teachers, and what we celebrate as Founder’s Day) is on Sunday, as far as we’re concerned, Founder’s week is really two weeks!  Share with us what’s happening at your ministry from May 9th – 20th. Post it on social media at #DLSFoundersWeek or e-mail it in!

UPDATE: Check out @BecomingBrother on Periscope and Twitter for a live broadcast from a Founder’s Day Celebration, happening somewhere in DENA. Want to know where? Tune in and find out Friday morning, May 13th – just around 8:30AM!

May 11 – Ms. Maggie Naughton, Campus Minister at La Salle Academy in Providence share her students sharing their favorite De La Salle quotes:

Sunday is Founder’s Day! A few quotes seniors love from JBDLS

May 10 – Ms. Christine Russo, Lasallian Animator for St. Raymond’s High School for Boys in the Bronx shares:

The students really put their hearts into this! The Freshmen and Juniors created icons, and the Sophomores and Seniors wrote prayers. We have 2 daily trivia questions about St. La Salle; a prayer board outside the Chapel; classroom prayers and religion class prayer services, and students reading morning prayer. I made some bookmarks and magnets for the faculty, and a welcome sign at the entrance where the students come in.

St. John Baptist de La Salle… Pray for Us!

Live Jesus in our Hearts… Forever!
