1959: Over 200 people attended La Salle College’s Centenary (1863-1963) Fund Dinner in the campus ballroom. Among the speakers were Bro. Daniel Bernian (President) and Pennsylvania Governor David L. Lawrence. The purpose was to form various committees to celebrate La Salle’s 100th birthday and to advocate for the school’s development.
