Experienced non-profit fundraising professional named to newly established position in Christian Brothers’ District Advancement office
Mrs. Maggie Dombroski
Eatontown, NJ – The Brothers of the Christian Schools, District of Eastern North America (DENA), is proud to announce Mrs. Maggie Dombroski as their selection for the newly created Associate Director position in the Office of Advancement. Mrs. Dombroski began the new role on June 8, 2020.
As an advancement professional with eight years of experience in the non-profit sector, Mrs. Dombroski has dedicated her career to learning best practices and growth opportunities for fundraising. Getting her start at the American Cancer Society, Maggie then transitioned to Expect Miracles Foundation, a Boston based non-profit raising funds for cancer research. As the Director of Development & Events at Expect Miracles Foundation, Mrs. Dombroski focused on planning fundraising events, facilitating partnerships, and building donor relationships. Her initiatives have raised more than $7 million.
“I am excited to transition my career to a huge passion in my life — Catholic education — and apply my skillset to fundraising for the Christian Brothers’ District of Eastern North America,” says Mrs. Dombroski. “My experiences as a devout Catholic, a Parish Council Member, and graduate of a Catholic grade school, high school and college, have instilled in me the values of Catholic education. I understand the need for increased funding in this capacity, and I am excited to bring my fundraising knowledge, creativity, and passion to this new role.”

Dennis Lee, FSC, Provincial/Visitor of DENA. “Maggie’s skills will hopefully help us in making a Catholic Lasallian education available and affordable to more young people, especially those who are on the margins, and most in need of educational opportunities.”

Born and raised in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Dombroski moved to Providence, Rhode Island to study at Providence College and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Management. Following college, she moved to Boston, Massachusetts, where she has been located for the past 8 years, before Mrs. Dombroski and her husband recently relocated to New Jersey.
