During this wonderful time of year, we asked art students from across the District to capture the spirit of the Christmas season in their own creative way. This year’s theme is taken from the Meditations by Saint John Baptist de La Salle:

“Recognize Jesus beneath the poor rags of the children whom you have to instruct. Adore him in them. Love and honor these poor children after the example of the Magi. May faith lead you to do this with affection and zeal, because these children are the members of Jesus Christ. In this way the Savior will be pleased with you, and you will find him, because he always loved the poor.”

A total of 35 submissions were entered for the District of Eastern North America Christmas Card contest. Even though only one entry was chosen to be the cover of the Christmas card, we wanted to make sure all of artists and their work were showcased here.
