Brother Raymond Blixt, FSC will step down as Martin de Porres’ leader since July 2000
The Martin de Porres Board of Directors is pleased to announce the selection of Dr. Edward Dana to serve as Executive Director replacing Br. Raymond Blixt, FSC, whose term of office will end on June 30, 2011.
Dr. Ed will be in a transitional period of training for this position during the 2010-2011 fiscal year. At the directive of the Board, an Executive Leadership Team will be formed during this transitional year to fulfill all the responsibilities required to insure the future of the MDP Lasallian Mission.
As Martin de Porres services to young people most in need approaches 40 years of continuous dedicated commitment, the Board of Directors and Administration are hopeful that this leadership change will initiate a new era of faith and zeal in the best interests of all who will continue to be entrusted to their care.
