Pope Visits
After visiting houses in formation in Australia, Br. Erminus Joseph (visitor general for English-speaking districts) met Pope Paul VI in Rome. To the right of Br. Joseph is Br. Machar of England, personal secretary of the Superior General, 1957-1964.

Pope Paul VI visited the Brothers’ school in Castelgondolfo on September 6, 1963. The school is frequently mentioned as the “Pope’s own.”
