The beloved Pope John XXIII died on June 3. Christian Brothers from De La Salle College in Washington sang the Solemn Pontifical Mass at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception (Washington) in his memory.

  1. His encyclical Pacem in Terris
  2. The 72nd anniversary of Pope Leo XIII’s Rerum Novarum
  3. The feast day (May 15 in those years) of St. John Baptist de La Salle.
