After being located in the Amawalk Valley for some time, the administrators and the youngest members of the New York District were compelled to move to Pocantico Hills (Westchester County, NY). There the house of studies (scholasticate) was opened on this date; the novitiate had operated at Pocantico Hills since 1906.
