With the Institute’s Generalate (headquarters) being moved from Belgium to Rome in 1936, it was appropriate to transfer the remains of St. John Baptist de La Salle as well. On this day, the two-week journey of these relics to their new home at the large chapel of St. La Salle on the Generalate grounds was completed.
