Jim Benischeck ’10 and Josh Thorn ’10 Win NCFL National Championship in Policy Debate
La Salle College High School students Jim Benischeck ’10 and Josh Thorn ’10 won the National Catholic Forensic League (NCFL) 2010 National Championship in Policy Debate on Sunday, May 31, 2010. Jim and Josh did not lose a single judge’s ballot in the elimination rounds on Sunday, winning their Double-Octofinal (Big 32), Octofinal (Sweet 16) and Quarterfinal (Elite 8) Rounds on 3-0 decisions, and winning the Semifinal and Final Rounds on 5-0 decisions.
