Albany, NY – On August 11th, completion of a Youth Police Initiative (YPI) program was celebrated at LaSalle. YPI pairs youth with police officers to complete a leadership training curriculum building positive identity and relationship ties. YPI is made possible through funding from the NYS Dept of Criminal Justice, Albany County DCYF, and the LaSalle Foundation.
