Philadelphia, PA – At the La Salle vs Richmond basketball game on Saturday, February 13, the brothers of Sigma Phi Lambda fraternity presented a check for $32,000 to Ms. Teresa Diamond, principal, and the students of La Salle Academy. The check represents the proceeds from the Sixth Annual Coach Charles Torpey Sigma Phi Lambda race held at La Salle University in October. The goal was $27,000, so the brothers are very proud of their accomplishment. They also volunteer as coaches and mentors each week at LSA. The mock check was created by an alumni brother of the fraternity.
