Albany, NY – At the 2017 Future City Competition held at Proctor’s in Schenectady on January 21st, LaSalle School students displayed and defended their project entitled ‘Glens Falls’ – a model of the city in the year 2117. The project featured the use of micro organisms to create renewable, sustainable energy sources. Staff and board members were on hand to assist LaSalle Technology Teacher Kenneth Getsch and his students Nate, Malikai and Darren throughout the entire day to display and orally defend their futuristic city. The theme of the 2017 contest was The Power of Public Space.
