Lasallian Women of Hope (LWH) has partnered with FairTrade Caravans to launch its third annual #LWHSpringFundraiser to raise money to support young women attending Lasallian ministries around the world.

This fundraiser will take place from April 21 – May 8, with LWH receiving 25% of proceeds from FairTrade Caravans product sales.

This spring and Mother’s Day fundraiser will help expand the grassroots LWH initiative to new areas, including India, and fund a new grant to establish a program in Vietnam. Proceeds from the 2022 Christmas fundraiser with FairTrade Caravans helped to fund a project to connect a water system to the girls’ dorm at Child Discovery Center in Nakuru, Kenya,and expand the menstrual education program in India.

FairTrade Caravans’ products are made in safe working conditions with sustainable practices. They do not use child labor and offer fair pay for all employees. While the spring fundraiser offers an opportunity to bring attention to and fundraise for LWH, it also supports artisans and farmers around the world. In addition to the spring fundraiser, LWH is one of three initiatives that FairTrade Caravans supports as fundraiser throughout the year by selecting LWH at checkout.
