Riverdale, NY – This year’s Lasallian Youth Assembly, “Lasallians Without Limits” was held on the beautiful campus of Manhattan College. Lasallians from 4 countries spent the week of July 15-20 engaged in service, community building, prayer and being challenged as Lasallians to live as people of faith and hope in the world today.
Appreciation to Mr. Michael Foley and the students from Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School for getting the Assembly going with awesome icebreakers! Special thanks to Deacon Greg Albanese of La Salle Academy, Providence, RI who presented to the Assembly on Monday, and to Manhattan College’s Lois Harr and Dr. Kevin Ahern for preparing the group for service, along with Brother Ed Phelan, FSC. Shout out to Brothers Francis Eells and Ed Hoffmann for their presentation on vocations. Thanks to Collegio San Giuseppe, Rome, for their evening presentation on the global plight of our migrant and refugee sisters and brothers.
