Pawtucket, RI – A few weeks ago, we at Saint Raphael Academy received a package from La Salle High School in Pasedena, CA. Inside was a T-shirt from their school and a letter explaining that, as part of their homecoming theme of “On the Road,” they were reaching out to Lasallian high schools across the country to see who they would hear back from. We took a picture of our students with La Salle High School’s t-shirt before they went on a retreat and we sent it to them, along with a Saints t-shirt that they requested to give away as a prize during their homecoming week. Coincidentally, our students were celebrating our own homecoming week with a pink dress down day for breast cancer awareness. We thought La Salle High had a really creative way of making students more aware of how widespread Lasallian schools are.
