6/7/2011 – Pawtucket, RI – Approximately 40 Lasallian Youth members from La Salle Academy in Providence, Rhode Island joined residents of the Jeanne Jugan Residence in Pawtucket, Rhode Island at the Little Sisters of the Poor for a “senior prom” in mid-May.
The La Salle students provided food, decorations and music for the evening. The residents were dressed in donated gowns and the facility’s staff helped the women with hair styling and makeup. The gentlemen residents donned suit and ties.
The students went to the various floors of the residence to pick up their dates and escort them to the event that was held in the Jeanne Jugan auditorium. Following dinner the dance floor was crowded with residents and students as they danced the evening away!
