Patrick Cardinal Hayes, AFSC, Dies (September 1938)
The Archdiocese of New York lost a true giant when Cardinal Patrick Hayes died on September 4, 1938, and the Christian Brothers lost a genuine friend. He was affiliated into the Institute in 1922, and his name graced the new library at Manhattan College in the late 1930s.
