Happy New Year!
With 2012 underway and classes in session, I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome you back, and wish you and yours many blessings.

As we look back on 2011, it’s easy to say The District has come a long way. Our first District Chapter, the Brothers’ Summer Retreat, and the Mission Assembly have put many pieces of the puzzle in place to finalize this project we call DENA. Stay tuned for the second session of the District Chapter in March where we take all the hard work of Lasallians throughout the District to the last step.

As for the Finance office, our Bookkeeper Mary Ellen and I are happy to welcome Mr. Ed Meehan to the team as our Accountant. Brother Gerard Conforti returned to Catholic Near East Welfare Association (CNEWA) in New York at the end of October, 2011. Welcome Ed!

A happy, healthy new year to you.

Br. Timothy Froehlich, FSC
Director of Finance

VOCATION AWARENESS MONTH

Meet the Brothers

As Brothers and Partners alike, it is our responsibility to invite young men and women to discern a religious vocation. Sometimes the simplest way to open the door to the Brothers’ vocation is to learn about the Brothers. Share this link, and come learn about some of the many Brothers in the District of Eastern North America. Check back regularly as we continue to add new Brothers’ bios. For every Lasallian, it’s our hope that each one will reach one!

When Brother Stephen Olert was recently asked to consider moving from the Manhattan College Community to the De La Salle Hall Community, his immediate response was affirmative.
