Over the past two weekends, November 2 and 8, the Men’s and Women’s Cross Country teams of La Salle Academy, Providence, captured both State of RI titles and New England titles. For the Men’s team the state championship was the first since 1983. For the Women’s team the state championship was a repeat and the 6th in 8 years. Both teams are led by underclass runners and are nationally ranked.
