LI-NE Brother New Generalate Director
The Long Island-New England District is proud of Br. Celestine Philip who became the new director of the generalate (international headquarters) community in Rome. Br. Philip is the former vocation director of LI-NE and was the director of De La Salle College, the house of studies in Washington. In this photo from the Institute Bulletin of April 1964 (p. 102), the four successive directors of the generalate since 1947 pose under a tree there; Br. Philip is on the far right.
