Riverdale, NY – Manhattan College has been named a top school for service by the Catholic Volunteer Network (CVN). The distinction highlights the work of Campus Ministry and Social Action (CMSA), specifically in connecting college students with post-grad service opportunities nationally. It factored in placements for post-grad service opportunities, as well as results from a Catholic Volunteer Network survey that asks volunteers which college or university they attended.

“It’s certainly very gratifying to have our work recognized by an independent, collegial body,” says Lois Harr, assistant vice president and director of CMSA. “The members of the CMSA staff have worked over the past few years to build up a body of knowledge and network of relationships regarding the kinds of programs that are available through CVN and other opportunities as well.”
