Providence, RI – David Karambizi, who is now attending medical school at Brown University and is a graduate of Nativity Miguel Buffalo visited San Miguel Providence along with several of his classmates from Brown Medical School to talk with 7th and 8th graders about his journey to medical school and the challenges he overcame along the way.
He and his classmates plan to create a regular presence of Brown Medical Students supporting the San Miguel Providence community.
Karambizi, who arrived in Buffalo from Rwanda reminded his San Miguel Brothers, “We are not a tragedy. We need the support of the people in our community along the way, but we are not a tragedy!”
