Lincroft, NJ – The Office for Vocations of the Brothers of the Christian Schools District of Eastern North America hosted its third of five Vocation Summits for the academic year. Hosted by Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, NJ, more than 35 students responded to the invitation to further explore their life’s vocation.

Young men and women from Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School, Brooklyn, La Salle Academy, New York, St. Peter’s Boys High School, Staten Island, La Salle College High School, Wyndmoor, West Catholic Preparatory High School, Philadelphia, and Christian Brothers Academy spent time in discussion, discernment, and prayer about what God might be calling to them in their lives, especially to a vocation in teaching and religious life. Presenters Mrs. Victoria Melin Meehan (CBA Lincroft), Mr. Joel Peña (LSA NYC), and Br. Timothy Ahearn (CBA Lincroft) shared their vocation journeys, posed tough questions for young people to contemplate, and answered tough questions posed by participants. The evening concluded with students, presenters, Brothers and moderators breaking bread over a pasta dinner provided by CBA.

Special thanks to the moderators for providing transportation for participants, and to presenters for sharing their vocation journey with the young people gathered.
