Mission Executive Council Member
Mr. Jeffrey Mancabelli became the 28th President of St. John’s College High School on July 1, 2010. His appointment marked his 11th year of service to St. John’s, where he has served as teacher of Speech and Communications, the Director of Summer School, Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs, and Principal for nine years. Jeff is a member of the St. John’s Board of Trustees.
With a Bachelors’ degree in Business Management from the University of Scranton, a Masters of Arts in Educational Leadership from The George Washington University, and additional studies at La Salle University in Religious and Lasallian education, Jeff came to St. John’s from Georgetown Preparatory School in North Bethesda, Maryland, as the Admissions Associate and Dean of the Resident School.
Jeff graduated from the Lasallian Leadership Institute and has been a member of the legacy Baltimore Mission Council, member of the Harvard Leadership Institute, and involved in the creation of the structure for the District of Eastern North America. Jeff is also a member of the Mission Executive Council for the District and the Lasallian Association of Secondary Schools.
With all he does, it’s clear that Jeff has made a life-long commitment to Catholic education that has been rooted in the Lasallian vision of educating the whole person.
