Brothers Conduct St. Louis College
The St. Louis District, at the urgent request of the Bishop of Amarillo, TX, began conducting Amarillo’s Price Memorial College, founded in 1928.

St. Mary’s Funding Increased
An organization known as the The Friends of St. Mary’s has been formed in California to increase the building fund for St. Mary’s College there. One week after the campaign began, over $30,000 was collected.

Science Loses a Great Brother
The death of Brother Gerfroy Arsene (Brouard) in late May at Santa Fe was a great loss to the world of science. He had an international reputation for his writings on botany, and was regarded as an authority on the flora of Mexico. At one point he taught at La Salle College in Philadelphia.
