A Catholic biology textbook, written by Brother H. Charles (head of the biology department at St. Mary’s College, Winona, MN) is being used in many high schools. Brother H. Andrew (St. George HS, Evanston, IL) made the drawings.

St. Mary’s Moraga 75 Years
St. Mary’s College (CA) observed the 75th anniversary of its founding in 1938. The Christian Brothers arrived and began conducting the school in 1868.

Big Chicago Public School Retreat a First
On a springtime Saturday, De La Salle Institute (Chicago) hosted 200 public high school boys for a retreat. It was the first one-day event of its kind sponsored by a Catholic high school in Chicago.
