The new cemetery of the recently-created Winona District of the Christian Brothers was blessed on November 7, 1964. Two Brothers (Br. Thaddeus Luke, killed in an accident at age 19 in July, and Br. Ildephonsus Austin who died in September) were interred in the same ceremony.
