As Italy slipped into political chaos in the early 1920s, Benito Mussolini was invited to form a new government and thus became the youngest premier in Italian history. An eerie photograph of several Christian Brothers and their young students rendering the Fascist salute at a Lasallian school in the then-Italian colony of Libya (North Africa) during the visitation of Mussolini himself in the mid-1930s appeared in Bulletin des Ecoles Chretiennes, July 1937.
